Job Title:      Java / PL-SQL Developer

Responsibilities and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively across technical and business organizations.

Position requires after-hour support on a rotation basis.

Minimum Qualifications :

10+ years experience in Java development with J2EE exposure, XML, Web Services, JUnit, CGI, & EJB .

At least 6 years experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development .

Advance understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture .

Advance level understanding and direct experience in Autosys, NDM, MQ Series products .

Advance understanding and experience in server-side development (involving Java Servlets, JSP, JSTL, etc.) and one or more Java Application Frameworks (Struts, Spring, etc.) .

 Proficiency with source code management system e.g. Clearcase . Proficiency with IDEs/Tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ, TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Introscope .

Proficiency in tuning application configuration and database statements .

Proficiency with Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems .

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment . Prior experience working with both business and technical partners . Ability to learn mainstream programming languages .

Expert level diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and experience .

Strong English written and oral communication skills .

BS or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
