Job Title: Sr. Technical Analyst
Responsibilities and Skills Required:
Responsibilities to include:
* Provide expert operational support of the ArcSight Event Correlation System, including ArcSight ESM, Connectors and Loggers
* Tuning and Maintenance of Content (Dash Boards, Data Monitors, Reports, Rules, Filters, Trends, Active Lists, etc)
* Day to day changes to the production environments based on customer requirements.
* Problem management, from routine issues to critical failures.
* 24 X 7 rotating on-call support of the GSOC Security devices, which includes SIEM, IDS/IPS and ADS.
* Support routine compliance activities like audits, maker-checker, peer review, etc.
* Plan and install new infrastructure based on engineering requirements and design.
* Hardware and software upgrades, hot fixes and replacements.
* Technology improvements and engineering support
Key Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years experience supporting ArcSight and/or other information security technologies (firewalls, proxies, IDS, etc...)
* CISSP or GIAC certified, with certification in ArcSight, Sourcefire (Snort) or Arbor Peakflow preferred
* Must be willing to work non-standard hours and be on call
* Solid skills Unix/Linux, Windows and networking skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with SQL, XML, Perl and other scripting
* Must have experience supporting the following ITIL processes:
o Risk Management

o Availability Management
o IT Service Continuity Management
o Information Security Management
o Service Asset and Configuration Managemento Service Validation and Testing o Release Management
o Change Management
o Problem Management o Request Fulfillment
