Position: Manual Tester
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: 3 Months
Job Description:
Responsibilities require participation in all phases of the test life-cycle including: functional and technical design reviews, test planning, data mining (for testing purposes), construction, execution, and post-implementation validation. This position will be responsible for authoring and administering the test plan, creating and executing test scripts, defect management, and test environment management. Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is helpful, but not required. Will also interface with management at all levels. The team they are working on consists of a Scrum Master, 3 senior developers, and one technical analyst. Must be able to work independently since they will be the only testing resource on the team.
4-6 years of experience with the following areas:
The ability to read and understand the requirements for the project, and translate those into test cases
Be familiar with basic database queries (SQL) and comfortable doing that type of work on a regular basis.

Navigate around the UNIX operating system
